This was the other design I did for my FIT application. I love this skirt, it took FOREVER!!! But it turned out so cute. I borrowed a ruffle foot from my high school sewing teacher which definitely made this skirt do-able. I sewed up a basic pencil skirt and then alternated layers of gathered chiffon (cut on the bias) and tulle. The chiffon has gold sparkles in it and the tulle is light yellow.
