PFW: look #8 sequin beaded peplum & sequin maxi skirt

I made my first sequin maxi skirt years ago but wanted to re-create it for this runway show in a more formal and sophisticated way. I paired it with a formal sequin top (rather than a casual tee like I normally do). I wanted to bead the neckline but finding beads in Utah County is extremely difficult. I decided to head to some jewelry stores to see if I could find a necklace that I could take apart and use - success! The perfect beaded neckline was created.

You can purchase the sequin maxi skirt here - also available in other colors! Be sure to visit my pop-up shop next weekend at Provo Fashion Week to see all the sequin fabric swatches in person.

PFW: look #5 Pink Layered Gown

This is the only gown that I made before Spring Provo Fashion Week - it hadn't been down a runway, I made it at the Fashion Institute of Technology while I was at school, so I based my whole collection off of incorporating this dress into the line-up.

PFW: look #1 Ombre Gown

I saw this fabric and was instantly drawn to it! I wanted something simple and gorgeous so the fabric could speak for itself. I love the soft and feminine feel of the floral bodice and the gorgeous open back.

Provo Fashion Week: JessaKae Photography

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with JessaKae Photography - she is amazing!! And super sweet to work with. She shot my designs from Spring Provo Fashion Week 2014. I was also lucky enough to work with Emma's Parlour - she is lovely and adorable! She did the hair for this shoot on my models @britandrus and @mell713. @kedalnb finished the look with her stunning makeup skills and everything looked beautiful! Every single person I worked with for this shoot was so great - we had a blast.
