I made this gown for my FIT portfolio. I needed 10 sewn designs to turn in for my application and I had 8 that I wanted to submit, so I made this dress and the skirt I will post next. I had two weeks to complete the portfolio (the 10 sewn designs and then about 20 sketches). I got this charcoal fabric from Mood when I was in NYC checking out FIT and then found the gold to go with it at JoAnn's. (If you haven't been able to tell.....fabric flowers are kind of my signature).
I wore this gown to the BYU Traditions Ball with Taylor.
