Obviously the top changed a lot. I wanted to incorporate more color!
This skirt was actually the bottom half of my Senior Prom Dress. I was debating cutting it into a skirt for a long time because of the sentimental value...but I thought maybe I could wear it again as a skirt. Somewhere, to some fancy occasion. So that is what happened, and I still have mixed feelings about it. I loved it as my prom dress but I think it looks stunning as a skirt. After all the bottom half was the cool part and that remained unchanged.
(I'm amazed at how the color looks so different in every picture!)
