I used a pattern for this jacket, but I did put my own spin on it. I made it for a Simplicity pattern contest. I honestly don't remember how it did in the contest, I obviously didn't win - cause I'd remember that. I based it off of jackets from J.Crew - the flared "peplum-like" sleeve was the trend and I loved it.
