I switched up the outfits from my original sketches.. I ended up not making the pencil skirt so I put the striped top with the navy skirt and used the top with teal accents for another outfit!
I LOVE stripes right now, I think we all do, so I put all the scraps together from pieces in my collection to make this top. It was a perfect piece to pull in all the looks in my collection.
The navy maxi skirt was made back in 2009. I got this fabric on my summer NYC trip at Mood and made a simple formal (ish) skirt! I still am completely in love with this fabric and now maxi's are super popular so it's been a nice piece.
